Maurice Mbata, Jr is the Principal Agent at MIM Insurance Solutions, he is a proud U.S Army veteran, and served honorably. While in the Army active duty, Maurice Mbata Jr showed an admirable character of on time mission execution that exceeded most standards. This led to him quickly rising up to the rank of sergeant within a short period of time and was promoted to be squad leader and eventually company training non-commission officer. Due to exemplary behavior Sgt. Mbata earned several awards including Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Some of Maurice Mbata Jr duty stations were Ft. Bragg, Ft. Lee and Camp Humphreys (South Korea).
Maurice holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, University College. He also holds a diploma of Logistic from U.S Army School of quartermasters; he is a graduate of U.S Army School of non-commissioned officer. Prior to starting MIM Insurance Solutions Maurice worked at a fortune 100 insurance company where he excelled among peers and was recognized by giving him several awards. Maurice Mbata Jr, has over 9yrs experience in customer relations and sales, and carefully listens to customers’ needs and makes a suitable recommendation. Maurice lives in the Northern Virginia area with his wife and 2 kids he is also an active member in the community and does volunteer work for organizations that target the veteran community in the Washington D.C area. He is an active member of Northern Virginia Urban League Young professionals Network (NVULYPN), Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce and Reston Chamber of Commerce.
